The gymnasium at the new Warren Local High School in Vincent, OH simply “bleeds” school spirit. This building was completed in August 2021 through a partnership between Fanning Howey Architects and Barton Malow as construction manager. Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) provided and installed the seating and athletic equipment for the new high school gymnasium.
Two banks of MAXAM telescopic bleachers from Hussey Seating Company provide nearly 1,200 seats for spectators in the gym. Both sets of bleachers include bright blue courtside seats. Auto-rotating aisle rails minimize set-up time. ADA seating is made available through Hussey’s first-row “flex-row” design allowing the facility to quickly accommodate spectators who need wheelchair accessibility. The larger home side bank features seating with coliseum backrests in the center seating area to give a VIP seating experience to guests. This bank also includes a 4’x8’ media platform for filming the games from an advantageous spot in the gymnasium.
The athletic equipment for the gymnasium was provided by Performance Sports Systems (PSS). Basketball backstops, a divider curtain, volleyball equipment, and wall safety pads were installed by FEC.
Warren Local School’s New High School was designed to raise school spirit and create an electric environment for their guests. Reliable and quality bleachers with optional VIP seating allowed FEC to be the ideal provider for making Warren’s new gymnasium come alive for this upcoming season and beyond.
