Project Overview
Northridge Academy had required some gymnasium bleachers to create seating for their school. While looking into options with a limited budget and tight deadline, the school contacted David DeCan, the Michigan Service Solutions Consultant for Farnham Equipment Company (FEC). Through conversation, it was determined that the school was looking to find a small, manual-operated bleacher that could withstand rubber floors, include end curtains, and have blue courtside seats. Due to the urgency of this project, the school requested a quick turnaround for pricing, which FEC delivered on. Shortly afterwards, FEC was awarded a contract to provide the new bleachers to the gymnasium, which took place in Spring 2025.
This project was a great example of the prompt and professional nature FEC takes with each of its customer interactions. The school was quite pleased with the end product, which continued to add to the growing list of bleacher projects performed by FEC in Michigan.

1. Telescoping Bleachers: Hussey Seating Company
The project at Northridge Academy features new telescopic bleachers from Hussey Seating Company, delivered and installed by FEC’s installation crews. This includes a singular bank of seating, featuring:
- Over 100 seats with courtside seats, 301 blue
- Manual rotating aisle rails
- (2) end curtains
- Hinged front aisle steps
