Project Overview
Madison Academy High School in Burton, Michigan contacted Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) to deliver and install new gymnasium bleachers to its gymnasium in a relatively narrow window between fall and winter of 2024. Through expert product knowledge and a world-class bleacher product, Madison Academy High School saw that the existing bleachers needed a clear upgrade to code-compliant, high-end bleacher seating for their facility.
The finished product is a dramatic change from the original bleachers, which were outdated, violated code compliance and presented safety hazards for spectators.
This project at Madison Academy is a great highlight to the work performed by FEC in the state of Michigan. Through expert product knowledge and customized solutions, FEC is excited to add this to its growing list of projects performed in Michigan.
Key Project Features
1. Telescopic Bleachers: Hussey Seating Company
The project features telescopic bleachers by Hussey Seating Company. This single bank of seating replaced the worn out, non-code compliant bleachers with new seating for nearly 275 guests. Other features include:
- Flex-row ADA seating
- Safety end curtains with custom “Madison Academy” branding
- Signature Logos spelling out “MAHS”
- Power operated, compared to the previous manual-operated bleachers
- Auto rotating aisle rails for easy set-up
- Black courtside seats
