Completion Date: Summer 2020
Fairborn City Schools built a new 130,444-square-foot elementary school. Housing over 1200 students, this elementary school was constructed where the previous elementary building stood.
Farnham Equipment Company provided educational casework throughout the building, including custom millwork in the Administrative Office. The Educational Casework by Stevens allowed for storage throughout classrooms, including some sleek pull-out cupboards.
Besides Casework, Farnham provided a telescopic, wall-attached bleacher from Hussey Seating Company to seat a little under 250 students. In addition, Farnham provided basketball backstops and wall pads from Performance Sports Systems for the gym.
With many needs for the 1200 incoming students, Monarch Construction was able to take advantage of Farnham’s ability to package several different scopes of work for Fairborn’s PK-2 School. The combination of casework, athletic equipment and telescopic bleachers are great assets for any project in the K-12 market.
