Every fall for the past 15 years, people throughout Ohio make their way to the small village-town of Chagrin Falls for a great movie-going experience: the Chagrin Falls Film Festival. Dedicated to enhancing the profiles of some of the lesser known documentaries and filmmakers, this film festival has seen increased popularity throughout the years. Prior to the 15-year anniversary, the film festival reached out to Farnham Equipment Company (FEC), looking for high-end seating options for a smaller theater space they were looking to fill in what previously had been a general store below the headquarters of the film festival.
Following several iterations of designs and multiple hurdles with scheduling among construction, FEC delivered and installed a new telescopic system with Gallery 3 Chairs from Hussey Seating Company (HSC). In total, there were 36 chairs added to this new theater viewing room, in a traditional black fabric. It came powered, as the film festival wanted ease of access for set-up and teardown, and had a single railing for code compliance. The gallery 3 seat is a much more comfortable chair and adds a level of professionalism above the normal seat you might see in an auditorium or fixed seating setting. The finished product perfectly complements the exposed brick in the new building and gives comfort to patrons looking to digest a great filmmaking experience in Chagrin Falls.
This project was very unique, and required several conversations to pinpoint the desires and needs for the film festival crew. Due to Hussey Seating Company’s diverse portfolio of seating options, FEC was able to deliver a quality chair at a quality price for an incredibly exciting venue to showcase its products.
