Project Name: Hanna Maurer Center
Owner: Bowling Green State University
Architect: The Collaborative Inc.
Construction Manager: Mosser Construction
Scope: Provide and Install Casework and Custom Millwork
Completion Date: June 2020
Renovations for the new Hanna Maurer Center at Bowling Green State Unversity began in the summer of 2020. Connected with BGSU’s College of Business, The Robert W. and Patricia A. Maurer Center opened in the Fall of 2020 for students in Bowling Green State University’s College of Business. These renovations included an additional 50,000 plus square feet of space to deliver a new and exciting learning environment for the school.
Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) provided Casework from Stevens Industries throughout the building. The Quartz tops provided a sleek look to the modernized business center, while custom millwork was installed in the coffee shop, for the reception desk and for second-floor corridor benches.
In addition, Farnham included some vanity tops within the restrooms. The surround window sills also were apart of Farnham’s work on the project.
The available customization and product consistency of Stevens’ Casework is of great advantage for Colleges and Universities. This project is a great example of how Stevens products can be a flexible solution for higher-education markets.
