Farnham Equipment Company had been working with Twin Valley Community Local Schools for several years from a Service and Maintenance standpoint and after their Outdoor Bleacher Inspection in the summer of 2015, the school board decided it was time to replace their original wood and aluminum bleacher on the Home Side at the Football Field.
Twin Valley Community Local Schools advertised a request for proposals and upon completion, Dr. Clinton A. Moore, Superintendent wrote to Farnham Equipment Company:
“Thank you for the assistance in helping Twin Valley Community Local Schools with our recent outdoor bleacher project.
We were very pleased with the three proposals received. All three were very well documented and similar, but not identical. We were able to evaluate all proposals utilizing a scoring rubric and ultimately selected the one which we felt best would fit our requirements, which it turns out was not the lowest cost to the district.
The Farnham Equipment Company has been a pleasure to work with during our stadium bleacher renovation project.”
The new National Recreation Systems, Inc. non-elevated aluminum angle-frame bleacher system is 13 rows x 127’-6” with 904 net seats and includes 10 additional wheelchair spaces for a total capacity of 914. In addition to meeting the product needs of the district, Farnham Equipment Company was able to have the bleacher delivered on site for installation within 4 weeks of receiving notice to proceed.
