In 2013, the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School Board voted unanimously to close Wiley Middle School as part of the comprehensive schools facilities plan. In November of 2013, a $134.8 million bond issue passed to help fund the first phase of the plan that included renovations to Monticello and Roxboro Middle Schools. In 2014, Farnham Equipment Company installed new Hussey Seating Company Quattro Traditional Series auditorium seating in both Monticello and Roxboro Middle Schools with Gilbane Building Company as the General Contractor.
After Wiley Middle School closed in June 2013, work began to prepare the school to accommodate the high school students until the renovations at Cleveland Heights High School are complete. Wiley will continue to be a swing school as building renovations throughout the district continue.
Farnham Equipment Company was part of the Wiley building renovations by providing Stevens Educational Casework and ICI’s CampbellRhea Science Lab Casework. High schools students moved into the newly renovated Wiley building at the start of the 2015-2016 school year.
