Wayne High School welcomed faculty and staff into their new High School in December 2012 and opened its doors to students in January 2013. Farnham Equipment Company took part in the construction at Wayne High School with a comprehensive $1.6 million dollar package that included Stevens Casework and Millwork, Hussey Seating Company Telescopic Bleachers, Performance Sports Systems Athletic Equipment, Library Shelving, Mobile Storage Shelving and other specialty equipment.
Various Stevens standard casework designs and configurations were used for typical classrooms, life skills labs, business classrooms & art rooms. Specialized wardrobe cabinets to accommodate technology needs were utilized throughout. Farnham provided a full complement of Stevens Music Casework in the vocal and instrumental music rooms including instrument and uniform storage casework by Stevens with hanger racks by Magnuson Group. Stevens millwork assemblies are also found in several administrative locations. Wayne HS also features Stevens laboratory casework with various designs and configurations to create a full complement of Chemistry, Biology, Physics, General Science and Prep rooms.
Farnham furnished a (14) tier wall-to-wall Hussey MAXAM telescoping bleachers featuring a video platform on one side & Flex-Row ADA accommodations on both the home and visitors sides of the Wayne Warrior’s gymnasium. The home and visitors side took advantage of the standard block lettering with WHS on each side in red. In addition, a third bank features a (10) tier student section of Hussey MAXAM telescoping bleachers. Wayne High School’s Auxiliary Gymnasium also features (11) tier Hussey MAXAM telescopic bleachers with rich red Safety-End Curtains.
Both the main and the auxiliary gymnasiums feature Performance Sports Systems Athletic Equipment including single post side-fold basketball backstops with 2000+ Collegiate Breakaway Goals, wall pads, divider curtains, a mat storage system, and a Collegiate Steel Telescopic Volleyball System.
