Project Overview
Ontario Local Schools needed to improve its pool bleachers, which had been in the building for decades. The pool bleachers had long worn their welcome and showed clear signs of water damage from all the activity from the pool. The district reached out to Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) to deliver and install new pool bleachers to upgrade their seating.
FEC was able to utilize Sourcewell to expedite the purchase process while providing the type of seating the district was looking for. The district was thrilled with the outcome of the new pool bleachers. Here is what Assistant Superintendent Mike Ream said about FEC’s role in this project:
“My team said that (the FEC team) was awesome, worked efficiently and were willing to work amid all of the team schedules to get the bleachers installed. I was impressed with how quickly and professional your team was. The previous bleachers were ‘fossils’ and had been in the building for 50-60 years and needed to be replaced, and we got in contact with Farnham after coming across a grant that allowed our school to purchase these new bleachers.”
Key Project Features
1. Telescoping Bleachers: Hussey Seating Company
The project features new telescopic bleachers from Hussey Seating Company, delivered and installed by FEC’s installation crews through Sourcewell. The new seating includes:
- (1) bank of seating, with over 225 seats and 5-tiers
- Auto-rotating aisle rails
- Poolside high-humidity finish
- Safety end curtains on the right side
- Courtside seats, 301 Blue
