New Bremen Local Schools moved forward with plans for a new K-8 building addition in 2019. Their desire was to have all the students under one roof by creating additional space in the current K-12 building complex. This new school project tasked Garmann Miller with the design and Gilbane Building Company to oversee and manage the construction of the project. Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) was awarded contracts to provide casework and telescopic bleachers for this new project.
The MAXAM telescopic bleachers in the new gymnasium were provided by Hussey Seating Company. Holding over 800 students, the 15-tier seating bank matches perfectly with the team signage branding. Nestled right below the phrases “Protect the Nest” and “We Are Cardinals”, the bleachers help bring the gymnasium to life with school spirit.
Stevens Industries’ Advantage Educational Casework is present throughout the added classrooms, office area, music, art rooms, and science labs. To distinguish itself from the older portion of the building complex, New Bremen opted for a darker, Olled Legno finish for the new casework.
This project provided FEC an opportunity to showcase its expert in-house installation of casework and telescopic bleachers with a great end product for the educational marketplace.
