Project Overview
Maple Heights High School worked directly with Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) through Sourcewell to deliver 4 brand-new banks of telescopic seating to their existing gymnasium. This provided a colosseum-like atmosphere with the large dome roof, giving an incredible fan experience. Telescopic seating from Hussey Seating Company provided nearly 2,500 seats in Burgundy, in both wall-attached and reverse-fold units that display Xtreme Logos in the open and close positions.
This project showcased the high-end seating solutions FEC is able to provide customers, particularly when utilizing an entity like Sourcewell, saving the customer time and financial resources while delivering the exact product they sought.
Key Project Features
1. Telescopic Bleachers: Hussey Seating Company
The project features telescopic bleachers by Hussey Seating Company. There are 4 banks of telescopic seating at Maple Heights, providing nearly 2,500 seats for spectators to enjoy. Additionally, the seating includes added features including:
- Auto-Rotating Aisle Rails
- Flex-Row ADA Seating
- Safety end curtains with school logos
- Xtreme Logos on the main floor bleachers
- First-row backrests for team seating
This project was accomplished by the school utilizing Sourcewell to work directly with FEC through Hussey Seating Company. Utilizing Sourcewell allowed the school to purchase these bleachers quickly, without incurring added costs that come with a public bid scenario, while giving them flexibility to get the exact bleachers they wanted. Through the bleachers already having been competitively bid through Sourcewell, this satisfied the public bid process.
