Project Name: Lincoln Community Center
Owner: Lincoln Community Center
General Contractor: Level MB Construction
Scope: Provide and Install Telescopic Bleachers, Basketball Backstops and Wall Pads
Completion Date: January 2021
A new pre-engineered metal building was constructed in the Lincoln Community Center, located in Troy, Ohio. The community center, a pillar of the community with its advocacy for recreational sports and exercise for all ages, underwent renovations in collaboration with Level MB Construction. Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) was awarded a contract to provide portions of the project’s scope.
The new addition to the community center provided an additional 24,000 square feet to the existing facility. This additional space was accomplished via a pre-engineered metal building which has become more and more popular for field house and athletic complex design in recent years. Within the new facility, Farnham Equipment Company provided a 4-tier bleacher on one side of the gymnasium. Basketball backstops and wall pads were also provided by FEC. Farnham Equipment worked with the community center to design a custom wall pad logo for the new facility.
This project is a great example of the way FEC can be involved with new pre-engineered metal buildings. From bleachers to gym equipment and customized logos, Farnham was able to assist with many facets of this project.
