The Rocket Center at Connotton Valley is a sight to behold. What many aren’t aware of is that Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) has worked with the Connotton Valley Schools to provide seating and athletic equipment for their athletic facilities over the past few years.
In late 2019, FEC’s service department provided and installed Hussey Seating Company Legend outdoor spectator seating for the Conotton Valley baseball & softball fields. These seats, with a school green color, were strategically installed to create great views for spectators on both fields.
In 2021-22, the new Conotton Valley Rocket Center was completed by Vendrick Construction, and FEC was selected to provide the seating and athletic equipment. FEC’s contract department installed new MAXAM telescopic seating by Hussey Seating Company for the gym. The Courtside seats were furnished in a custom Bright Green finish and feature Hussey’s custom graphic Courtside Logos to highlight the school colors. These bleachers seat approx. 900 spectators and feature all of the latest safety and code requirements. FEC also provided new custom-finished wall padding by Performance Sports Systems (PSS) for this facility.
The district also purchased new PSS portable basketball backstops, a custom scorer’s table, and custom logo team seating for the gym.
FEC’s work was the result of ongoing service to Conotton Valley for over 3 years. Each time Conotton Valley requested additional products, assistance, or advice, FEC responded. Our service team provided multiple scopes of work within a timely manner that allowed for the new center to continue moving forward as it approached its opening date. The contract sales department provided budget numbers, design assistance, and customized mock-ups for the seats to ensure the district got the team seating it desired. The finished product was a creative and stunning solution for a new gymnasium center for Conotton Valley Schools.
