Starling features natural daylight throughout the facility and energy efficient geothermal heating and cooling, and with its use of recycled and natural materials, Starling is a candidate for LEED Silver Certification. Farnham Equipment Company is pleased to have been part of this project and offered products to assist with LEED certification from Stevens Industries, Brodart Contract Furniture, Borroughs Corporation, and Hussey Seating Company.
Farnham Equipment Company provided Stevens Casework in Fusion Maple throughout the building in Classrooms, Administrative Areas, and the Middle School Project Lab. A Stevens Circulation Desk and Shelving is also featured in the Media Center.
The Media Center, featuring a curtain wall overlooking the front entrance, houses Brodart Contract Furniture’s Quorum top and end panels on Borroughs Corporation’s Wilsonstak shelving units.
The new gymnasium features a 5-tier Hussey Seating Company Maxam26 Telescoping Bleacher with ADA Flex Rows for accessibility.
