Project Name: Westerville Community Center
Owner: City of Westerville
Architect: Williams Architects
Construction Manager: Robertson Construction
Scope: Provide and Install Telescopic Bleachers and Athletic Equipment
Completion Date: June 2020
The City of Westerville decided to expand its local Community Center. At the time, the Center was quite large as it is, with 96,000 square feet to house a variety of extra-curricular activities. Within the expansion included a new Ninja Obstacle Course, new multipurpose rooms for athletics, and expanding their aquatic center. With increased expansion came the need for increased flexibility, especially when it came to the multi-purpose athletic facilities. Farnham Equipment Company was able to assist the Community Centers’ goals for flexibility and necessity.
We provided portable Maxam1 Telescopic Bleachers to the Community Center. These portable bleachers are easily movable for one person, simple to place from the open to close position, and take up little room. We found these to be the perfect solution for a Community Center that would host various events and require flexible options for seating.
In addition to bleachers, we outfitted the Community Center with new Basketball Backstops and Wall Pads that coordinated with the Ninja Obstacle Course, a bright orange that really allows the athletics center to stand out.
